Upon request from my Instagram followers, I’m writing this article in English !
So ,let’s talk about my previous trip to Bangkok with my kid and my mum
Basically it’s a trip for my son during his school holidays , the itinerary all are about places that suitable for kid-friendly .
I will share about some places for parent if you are planing to visit Bangkok with kids . I do a lot of homework before we depart. ( I not able to visit all of them, but there are good enough from my research
Actually it’s kinda last minute plan, as I thought Marvel Experiences will be opening in May 2018 . So I bought our flight ticket without any other consideration and further confirmation from the website 3 weeks before our trip. It’s too late until I realised the studio actually postponed their opening date on July.
Besides that, last minutes flight tickets are always pricey , some more it’s during school holidays. So I decided to drive in Hatyai and take flight departure from Hatyai Airport.
It’s low fare at only RM 300 per person for 2 ways from Hatyai to Bangkok. Its so much cheaper compare with direct flight which cost RM 900 + per person from Penang to Bangkok ( for travelling during the date I’ve chosen , it’s RAYA HOLIDAYYYYYY ~)
Here’s my details of this trip
1st Day 14 June 2018
Nara Thai - Imaginia Playland - Emporium Shopping Mall - The Deck - Raan Jay Fai
2nd Day 15 June 2018
Safari World - Emquartier Mall - Teppen Sathorn - The CAMP Night Market
3rd Day 164 June 2018

http://sueannekang.blogspot.com/2018/07/maitria-hotel-sukhumvit-18-rm300.html
I stayed 2 diff hotel by same hotel chains in Bangkok.
- Emporium Suites by Chatrium and Maitria Hotel Sukhumvit 18 - A Chatrium Collection.
Both them are good, suitable for travelling with family and who looking for the feeling of stay at home. Both suites are spacious, the different is between the price range and facilities.
Emporium Suites are luxurious serviced hotel which located on top of Emporium Shopping Mall and connected to Phrom Phong BTS Station. This is one of the best place to stay for travelling with family and kids in Bangkok. Being one of the closest hotels to EM District ( ideal for those who want to shop till drop ) The BTS also only one stop from ASOK BTS which links to MRT. Emporium offers luxurious accommodation featuring floor to ceiling windows with Bangkok City View, each suites is fitted with kitchenette and flat screen TV. The kitchenette comes complete with kitchenware and a microwave. Besides. There a landscaped garden , sauna area, fitness room and a great large swimming pool which one for adult another for kids in the hotel too.
Furthermore, Maitria Hotel Sukhumvit 18 are more targeted who looking for serviced hotel with affordable price at around RM 300 only. Each suites come with small living room space, kitchenette, microwave , toaster. The bathroom are separately by shower ,bathtub and toilet. It’s only 650m away from Asoke BTS station and Sukhumvit MRT Station. There’re many eatery , cafe, convenient store nearby the hotel. Also, they do provide a fitness centre and swimming pool on top of the hotel. A simple yet comfy suites for budget family / group traveller.
Bangkok is probably best known for food, cheap clothes, massage and it’s night market. However, if you are planning a visit to Bangkok with kids, the city still has plenty to offer.
I’m going to share with you guys about the Kid-Friendly place which I visited / Haven’t visit but recommend
1.Imaginia Playland
Featuring a variety of themed play zones, a library & cafe. It’s absolutely a Modern, creative playland instead of the usual playground that what we saw in mall. They aimed to stir up a child’s imagination through fun activities.. They said that IMAGINIA is a place where children can learn outside of the classroom, explore their thoughts, discover new ways. I’m totally agreed with this point. My son love the slider here ! Visit there on weekday to avoid the queues :D
Location :3rd Floor of Emporium Mall
Opening Hours: 10am-7pm Monday to Thursday , 10am-8pm Friday to Sunday
Admission Fees : 3hour day passes -
480baht for kids above 91cm,
250 baht for 71-90cm,
100 baht for under 70cm,
Parent or guardian over 15 years-old pay 200 baht
2.Indoor Play zone in Central World Shopping Mall
Central World mall offers a large play area that contains differences zones .Most things are free, some of them being charges , rides are only 10baht each .
My son favourite are the indoor playground where she gets to slide , explore different games available. And most important is , it’s FREE . LOL
Location 6th Floor, Central World Bangkok
3.Safari World + Marine Park
There are 2 different type of tickets but I would suggest go for both.
The safari world allows visitor to drive in their car to the park. Or you may choose to pay another 45 baht for the Safari Coach . Marine park provided a variety of animal shows and you get to walk around the zoo. We went for Safari World first and then we visited to the Marine Park. Due to our late arrival, we only manage to catch the Dolphin show at 1.45pm. So make sure come early to avoid disappointment. ( We actually come for elephant show, but we missed it because it’s on 11.40am )
I suggest you to book your ticket earlier at website. I found it in Klook website earlier but I didn’t make the booking . ( I thought the price will be same which selling at the zoo’s counter) We bought it at total of 5705 baht for 2 adults and 1 kid including Safari world + marine park + coach + River safari )
How to get there : Around 45 mins from Sukhumvit area. We took grab from hotel instead of book a day trip taxi. Grab car price are range at 150-200 baht if no peak hour no traffic jam , but 300-450 baht during peak hours. We ask a few taxi driver and also hotel reception before we go . They offer price at 2000baht-3000baht for two ways transfer from hotel to safari world. So we decided take grab car , in the end we spend around 800 baht for two ways by grab car, it’s still a lot cheaper than you book a taxi for 2 ways transfer. No worries about getting Grab in Safari world area, there plenty of Grab you can get at there.
Opening Hours :
Safari Park 9.00am-4.30pm
Marine Park 9.00am-5.00pm
Admission Fee at the counter :
Safari + Marine : Adult 1500 baht Child 1400 baht
Safari Coach : 45 baht per person
River Safari : 390 baht
Price in Klook :
